The Old Forum has gone

Okay, well it had to happen - the old forum has now gone - it's no more - dead

Good job we moved when we did - I received a message saying my membership had been deleted and I guess everyone else has as well. So I went to have a look and the whole forum has vanished.

There you go .......................... :bye: :bye:

If you haven't been to the new forum - get yourself over to Arborfield Old Boys' Forum

Paul Hudson 58A

It is with the greatest sadness I have to report dear Paul has attended his final Passing Out Parade. Today I received this email from his step-son Pete ...........

Hello,

I am so sorry to inform you that Paul lost his battle with Leaukemia @ 2.50am this morning at Stoke Mandeville
Hospital. It was very quick & Mum & the family were by his side to say our goodbyes.

Thank you to all of you for the love, care & friendship you have shown to Paul, mum & the family through what
has been a very tough time. As soon as we know the funeral arrangements, we will let you know.

With love,

Pete
Pauls step son
..................................................................
I do know most of us will be greatly saddened by this news - not only was Paul an Arborfield Old Boy, but he was very active member, never missing a reunion.

I emailed Pete back and recieved this reply ...........

.........................................
Hi David,

thanks for your kind words - the reunion was the highlight of his year & though most of the family never met any of you,
he told us all the stories & bought the w/e's to life. Thanks on behalf of the family for all that you & the guys did with &
for him - you were clearly all great mates.

I'll pass on your comments & perhaps hopefully get to shake your hand at the funeral.

Warmest regards,

Pete.

I have asked Pete to let us know about arrangements and hope the AOBA will be represented...

very, very sad news...................
