For some time now I have been in communication with the MD of 'Forces Reunited' regarding their blatent use of material simply copied from our website. They have two pages showing details of the AAS/C Arborfield which are simply copied directly from our site.
Initially I - as a non- paid-up member – was able to view the pages so after I explained our copyright rules I persuaded them to add a footer confirming the materal was provided courtsey of the AOBA and provide a return link to our site. Normal courteous stuff.
However, now they have made the pages only available to those who pay a fee - they are as he pointed out a commercial business - not a registered charity like us. To which I took exception, suggesting this is contrary to all we stand for, and asking them to remove any material directly copied.
I received an email from their MD a Mr Tim Hayhoe confirming violating material will be removed. But as I’m not a paid up member I have no way of checking this has been carried out.
So if there are any members here who are also members of Forces reunited could I please ask them to visit these two pages?

and check the material copied from our page http://www.arborfieldoldboys.co.uk/history.html has in fact been deleted.
I try not to get wound up over anything these days - but we have all put a lot of effort into our website and when some money grabbing low-life comes along and steals from it for their own ends, I get very cross
Now I have to takl to Ray Stevens 64C and get him to delete the Rebadging parade and my POP from YouTube as they are using those as well .................. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
I'll add them directly to our site - then we keep copyright.
