Sorry gentlemen, information from Oxford CC is sparse---not like the Royal Marines

Repatriation notification

We have been advised by RAF Brize Norton that the repatriation of Rifleman Vijay Rai from 2nd Battalion The Royal Gurkha Rifles will take place on Thursday 27th October 2011.

The plane will land at approx 2:00pm and the cortege will pass by the Memorial Garden at approx 4:30pm, reaching the John Radcliffe at approx 5.15pm.

Please note that times are subject to change at short notice and we advise that you check again by visiting www.oxfordshire.gov.uk/repatriations or call 01865 816345.

Norton Way will be closed from approx 11.30am, whilst Station Road, Brize Norton, will be closed for approximately 10 minutes once the cortege leaves Britannia Gate at RAF Brize Norton.
